    “Stoneyholme sings Christmas”

Thirty six pupils performed for crowds at Sainsbury’s to raise money for the local cancer charity Bosom Friends. We would like to thank the shoppers for the generosity as we raised a whopping £50 in half an hour.

Members of the public who watched out performance commented on the warm welcome they received and the respect that the children showed.

“I was welcomed by the delightful singing of your children. I thought I would let you know how well your children represented the school. Not only singing Christmas songs beautifully but on their behaviour and respect for the general public.”

“Please could you thank all the children who made it happen – you all made me smile.”

After a roaring success at Sainsbury’s yesterday, the choir once again performed magnificently to the resident of Viking Place, who joined in with familiar carols them provided us with delicious Christmas lunch.

The children were also joined by Calico Choir who sang familiar songs and enjoyed sharing such a fantastic afternoon with like-minded choristers.
