Here is your teacher's introduction for the discussion text: 'Are humans really dealing with global warming?'

Around the world, many habitats such as mountains and arctic ecosystems are under threat from global warming. Thirty-five billion tonnes of carbon dioxide is made by humans every year when they burn fossil fuels. It is warming up the Earth at an alarming rate and is causing devastating effects to our planet.  Although humans are beginning to take action and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide going into the atmosphere, are they really dealing with the global warming issue?
