LC: To write an introduction to a discussion text including a statement on the topic and a preview of the argument.

Let's orally rehearse the introduction of the discussion text 'Do humans really care about the environment?'

We can use this to support our introduction writing today. 

Your teacher will be writing their introduction on 'Are humans really dealing with global warming?'

You will be writing your introduction on 'Are humans really dealing with the plastic pollution problem?'

You will need to refer to your discussion text plan. Read through the introduction part of the plan before you begin to write it.
