LC: To improvise and write dialogue demonstrating an understanding of standard and non-standard English.

Yesterday, you practised writing direct speech in standard and non-standard English.

You used Clive King's direct speech sentences in his novel 'Stig of the Dump' to do this. 

Today, you will be generating your own direct speech using standard and non-standard English. Here are the features to refresh your mind:

We will be creating non-standard English speech sentences for a conversation between Barney and either Lou, Stig or the Snargets. 

Also, we will be creating standard English speech sentences for a conversation between Barney and Granny.
