LC: To write the build-up to a story focusing on Clive King's novel features and includes previously taught writing skills.
Today, you will write your build-up to a story based on Clive King's Snarget chapter from Stig of the Dump.
Your build-up must include:
- Barney going out for the day and winding up the Snargets
- Non-standard English dialogue between the Snargets
- Similes to describe the Snargets and the event
You will use the 'Snarget' story build-up and the build-up part of your plan (on Seesaw) to help you.
