We all had a go at being different parts of the story, even the vegetables in the garden and the iron gates that encircled it.

We set up an investigation to observe water as a liquid, solid and gas.

We observed how chocolate and butter can be melted to change from a solid into a liquid. We then made crispy cakes with the ingredients. Yummy!

We went on a sound walk, using our ears to hear all the different sounds in our environment.

Sounds we hear in the playground.

We investigated what happens to a sound source as it travels further away by setting up a fair test.

We had a special visitor who told us all about how fasting impacts her and her family.

Drama approach: conscience alley for Gromit’s dilemma.
