Pre 'walk to school' challenge launch

Aim: To help pupils consider the physical and mental health benefits of walking to school.

We have had a brilliant time exploring the great outdoors. We discovered lots of beauty in our school grounds.

Children in 2R have revisited their learning throughout the Autumn Term which links Eco with work in R.E, PSHCE, British Values and Right Respecting School. We have looked at current global events through Picture News and shared our opinions.

We have made bird feeders to link with our topic on birds in English

Zakariyah said, “I’m going to put mine over here near the bird house, so the big birds can feed the babies.”

As part of our Crest Award:Plant Detectives, we investigated where plants grow in unusual places around our school grounds.
