Teacher model if learning from home today

Here is your teacher's 'against' argument for the discussion text: 'Are humans really dealing with global warming?'

However, an argument against humans dealing with global warming is that the amount of carbon dioxide being pumped into the atmosphere is disastrous. Can you believe that around 2.57 million pounds of carbon dioxide is released into the air every second? In addition to this, the two remaining ice sheets covering Greenland and Antarctica are melting at a fast rate. It is believed that if we continue adding carbon to the atmosphere, we will very likely create an ice-free planet with an average temperature of perhaps 27 degrees Celsius. This is an increase of 13 degrees Celsius from today’s world. Furthermore, humans have been burning fossil fuels and other things for the past 150 years which has caused large amounts of greenhouse gases. Scientists have confirmed that the Earth has been getting warmer in the past 50 to 100 years due to human activities. Can humans really stop burning things and causing greenhouse gases?
