In Talking Maths this week, we have been looking at time.

 

Today, we are going to use a timeline to help work out the time.

 

Example

What time is it 45 minutes after 2:25am? 


On the timeline below, what time would go at the start?

 



What would be the next hour?

How many minutes to that hour?

How many minutes left from the 45?

What time would it be at the end?

 

 

Draw a timeline to show your working out.


 

  1. What time is it 30 minutes after 1:50am?
  2. What time is it 40 minutes after 3:25am?
  3. What time is it 50 minutes after 10:35pm?
  4. What time is it 45 minutes after 5:40pm?
