Today, we will look at another way to half numbers up to 200.
We can still partition the number and then dividing by 2.
Let's look at another together.

Partitioning this number, we need to split up the number into tens and ones.
We should have have 70 and 4.
We can now simplify the 70 even more.
70 is made up of 20, 20, 20 and 10.
Using these numbers, it is easier to half.
Half of 20 = 10
Half of 20 = 10
Half of 20 = 10
Half of 10 = 5
Half of 4 = 2
Now we add these together.
10 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 2 = 37
Half of 74 = 37
