During Autumn 2 Year 2 have been working with spreadsheets in Purple Mash, the children have been learning the vocabulary used with spreadsheets, identifying columns, rows and cells and using the correct tools needed to calculate amounts.
Year 2 have been adding values to images in spreadsheets then creating a counting machine to count the items.
Year 2 designed a spreadsheet to automatically calculate rows then add a mathematical puzzle with a timer.
Year 2 can work out how much they need to pay using coins by using a spreadsheet to help calculate.
