   Friday the 18th June 2021

You are going to complete some independent work on electricity.

Below are the learning challenges that you will need to research.

1. To explain how the number and voltage of cells in a circuit links to the brightness of a lamp or the volume of a buzzer.

2. To compare and give reasons for why components work and do not work in a circuit.

3. To draw circuit diagrams using the correct symbols.

To answer these, you will need to use a variety of sources. Look for videos that may explain these (BBC Bitesize etc), search for year 6 sites and examples of electricity work and make notes as you go along.

Once you feel that you are able to fully answer the questions, then produce a presentation on Keynotes to explain this to others. Use text and pictures.

The better your research, the better your understanding will be. We may ask you again next week what you know so don't copy and paste as this won't help!
