RRS Class Charter

In Year 1 we will have a rights respecting tree that will grow over the year.

Our rights are unconditional. This means that they are not a reward and you don’t need to do something to get them.

Our rights are also universal. This means that they are for all children everywhere, all the time.

Our first right that we will be discussing is:- Article 15
You have the right to choose your own friends and join or set up groups, as long as it isn't harmful to others.

How can the right holders (children) and duty bearers (adults) respect this right?

Now think about who your friends with and who you will be friends with in Year 1. Write it on a petal and colour in the petals. These flowers will go at the bottom of our rights respecting tree.
