Reading

Last week, you did an amazing job of being detectives, looking for clues to answer questions. This week, we are going to have to dig deeper to find clues that haven't been directly left for us. We are going to have to use our own knowledge and experience to understand what is happening. This is called INFERENCE.

Let's take a look at an example together.

She walked into the room to find blue hand prints all over and her toddler holding a paintbrush.

What has happened?

The toddler has been watching the TV

The toddler likes dogs

The toddler has painted his hand and touched the walls

Listen carefully

Work through these questions together. If you are at home, pause the video after the 4 questions have appeared then share you answers with an adult in your house.
