Today we are looking at Aesop's fables.

Each story has a moral, can you find out what it is?

 

 

 

The moral of the story is -

Don’t give up at the first sign of failure. In fact, never give up! Any obstacle can be overcome, and often little by little does the trick.

 

1. What was the crow looking for?

2. Why could the crow not drink the water from the pitcher?

3. What is a 'pitcher'?

 

 

LC: To use perfect forms of verbs using 'have' and 'has' to indicate completed actions.

 

The crow has put her beak into the pitcher.

 

The crow has put pebbles in the pitcher.

 

Now you write 2 sentences using the perfect form of verb.
