We are exploring the narrative, The Iron Giant. We will be reading and analysing the text. After that, we will innovate the narrative by changing some of the features. We are very excited!
Maths
As mathematicians, we are learning about money! We will be recognising different denominations (both notes and coins) and the simple addition and subtraction of money. We will apply new knowledge to solve word problems using bar modelling as a key strategy.

Orienteering
In Orienteering, we will follow our Whole School Cross-Curricular Orienteering Scheme of Work. We will be cooperating and working together as a team to complete challenges. We will generate ideas, try out different solutions, follow concise instructions and use individual strengths. We will support and encourage our team members.
Computing
British Values and Rights Respecting School
We will continue to develop our understanding of British Values linking them through our learning and in our assembly times. This half term we will focus on Individual Liberty, Mutual Respect and the Rule of Law.
We will focus on article 29: Education must develop every child's personality, talents and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child's respect for human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and other cultures, and the environment.
