What happened to make Moses trust God and follow his instructions?

What happened as a consequence of the Pharaoh ignoring Moses?

Watch to the end.

Let's discuss:

#4 Keep holy the Sabbath (God's day of rest)

The Sabbath is part of the deal between God and the Jewish People, so celebrating it is a reminder of the Covenant (agreement) and an occasion to rejoice in God's kept promises.

Most Jewish people look forward to Shabbat all week. They see it as God's gift to his chosen people of a day when they take time out from everyday things to feel special.

Shabbat is a time with no television, no rushing to the demands of the telephone or a busy work schedule.

People don't think about work or other stressful things.

It's an oasis of calm, a time of stillness in life.

What is Shabbat?

Reflection:

Everybody has the right to live life as they choose, so long as it within the law and doesn't hurt anybody else. We can learn a lot from how other people choose to live their life.

How would keeping time for rest help our mental health?
