LC: To understand Samskaras and how they prepare Hindus for the next stage in life

Samskaras are the turning points of life and are extremely important to Hindus and their families and friends. Therefore, they need to be celebrated! Everyone gets together to convey their best wishes and blessings to the person concerned.

Below is a list of the 16 Samskaras. Hindus think of these as some are more important than others. As you can see by looking at the list, Vivah (marriage) is the most important Samskara. Why do you think that this is the most important within the religion of Hinduism?
