LC: To understand the celebration of Holi and how this festival expresses Equality.
Concept Questions:
Does Equality mean treating everybody the same?
Is Power always a positive thing?
At Holi, distinctions between people are forgotten – all look the same when covered in coloured powder and so it is a reminder of equality and that all people are believed to contain the energy of Brahman.
Think carefully about the traditional greeting of Namaste. How does this show equality?
