This afternoon we are going to think about Remembrance day.
Did anyone see Remembrance day on the television yesterday?
What did you see?
I saw everyone stop and be quiet for 2 minutes. Then they placed special poppies by a war memorial.
Does anyone know why they did this?

On Wednesday Mrs Davison is going to walk to school from her house. It is 34 km and will take her around 7 hours. She is doing this to raise money for Remembrance day.
Mrs Davison is going to lay a special poppy wreath at war memorials along her journey.
This afternoon we are going to work together for Mrs Davison to take on her special journey.
If you are in school you are going to cut out a poppy and a leaf that we will put together to make a special wreath.
If you are at home please make a poppy using this 2Do.
Then we can add it to our wreath.
