PSHCE

Yesterday, we listened to a fantastic song to help us learn the PANTS rule. Let's remind ourselves of what Pantosaurus taught us.

As part of our learning about rights, we focused on Articles 16 and 19, which state that every child has the right to privacy and to be protected from harm.

In our school, we also learn about British Values and learning about the PANTS rule helps us to learn about many of these values.

Individual Liberty

We have the freedom to speak about things that make us feel uncomfortable or worried.

We have the right to make our own choices (so long as it does not harm others)

Rule of Law

We understand why we have rules and why they are important.

We know that rules are there to keep ourselves and others safe.

Mutual Respect

We treat others with respect and know that it is OK if their opinion is different from our own.

It's really important to know that if you feel uncomfortable or worried then you can speak to an adult you can trust. Someone will help!!

Today, your task is to think of adults who you might turn to for help or share your concerns with and write a list. This is when it is important to remember that your opinion might be different from everybody else's and that's OK!!!
