Does change always make things better?

 

To find out about and describe the basic needs of animals, including humans, for survival (water, food and air)

Use observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions

To know that people make different choices about how to save and spend money

Shockingly, we’ve lost 38 million birds from UK skies in the last 50 years, so it really is vital we do all we can to look after our birdlife.

 

When we looked for birds in our school grounds we spotted 2 robins, 3 sparrows, 2 seagulls and 2 blackbirds.

 

Why do you think we only saw 9 birds in our school grounds?

 

As a conservation charity the RSPB depends on our support to save nature and to look after places where wildlife can thrive.

 

What can we do to change the plight of birds in the UK?

Mrs Davison has choices and decisions to make everyday on how to spend or save the school budget. How can we persuade her that we need to take action to protect our birds?
