Friday 16th September

LC: To recognise that everyone should be treated equally.

Treating people equally is not just important in schools, it is part of human rights.

What can you do to treat people equally?

Discuss as a class and share your ideas.

5P says :

Doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, we should all be looked after the same.

If you see someone who is feeling left out or all alone you can play with them.

You should accept everyone for who they are.

Share with others.

5F says:

The colour of a person does not matter. They should still be treated the same.

If someone does not have enough money, you could always give them some and help them out.

It doesn't matter what you look like.

No matter what religion you follow, you can treat people equally.

No matter who you are, you are perfect.

Here are some tips and examples on how to treat everyone equally.

  • Encourage children to stand up for a friend if someone else is calling them names!
  • Encourage all children to follow rules and make sure the rules are the same for everyone.
  • Sharing things with others is a great way of encouraging equality and fairness.

It is also about being kind and respectful to others!
