MY LOCKDOWN DIARY

Example

Dear Diary,

Well, where do I start? It has been a roller coaster since the day we went into lockdown number 3 on the 5th of January. We were not given much of a warning and had very little time to prepare ourselves for blended learning again. At first, it was quite daunting because we didn’t know when this lockdown was going to end, which made me feel uneasy. However, once the first week was underway, I felt a lot happier when I saw the incredible work that children in year 5 were completing.

I enjoyed going for a walk daily, as it gave my brain a rest. Just getting some much-needed fresh air was great for my well-being, even though, at times, it was extremely cold. It was important for me to stay in contact with family members to see how they were getting on and to make sure they were feeling ok. I loved speaking to my parents, grandparents, siblings, my nephews and sometimes my animals (on Facetime).

Although I feel overall, I have managed well during lockdown 3, I CAN’T WAIT to see all the children return to school on Monday.
