Today you are going to need to work out the area of a shape and draw a shape with the same area.
Let's look at some examples.
Both of the shapes above cover 3 times the surface as a single square tile.
Even though they create a different shape, they still have the same area.
All of the shapes above cover 4 times the surface as a single square tile.
Again they still have the same area as each other.
Your Activity
On Seesaw, you have been given 3 different shapes.
First you need to work out the area of the shape.
Once you have done this, you need to draw another shape with the same area. An example of how this are done is on the video.
