Today, we are going to continue to read and interpret information from a line graph.

Have a look at an example below.

What information can you get out of the line graph? What do you think it is talking about?

Why do you think there are lines going in different directions? What do the lines mean?

We can see that the blue line shows the ranking of the UK so whether they came 1st,  2nd  or 3rd.

The red line shows the number of gold medals that were won.

How many gold medals were won in 1992?

What ranking was the UK in 1992?

Q2 shows the amount of gold medals that have increased since 2004.

How many gold medals were won in 2000?
