LC: to be able to measure the perimeter of 2-D shapes.
Can you remember the names of these 2D shapes? Write them on your whiteboards.
Using your iPad, find this picture and discuss with the person sitting next to you how you know that the total length around the rectangle is 8cm. 
We need to count the cm around the 2D shapes to find the perimeter.
