LC: To be able to recognise angles as a property of shape.

Today, we are going to be looking at angles found within shapes.

Before we begin the 'In Focus' task, here are some 2D shapes that should be familiar to you.

Miss Hall's friend said, "Knowing the number of sides a shape has is helpful in finding the number of angles."

Is this true?

What other 2-D shapes do we have?

How many angles would a triangle have?

What about a square?

What about a pentagon?

Investigate 2-D shapes to see if there is a pattern that applies to all shapes.

Create a chart to record the number of sides and angles each shape has.

Is there a pattern?

This can be found on Seesaw.
