Today we are going to find a quarter of a quantity. 

First of all let's watch this video about how to find a quarter.

Now let's do a problem together.

I have 8 balls of playdough.

How many is 1 quarter?

Use your playdough to find out.

Share the 8 balls into 4 quarters.

How many is in each quarter?

Let’s find out…

Or you could move the balls and share them into 4 baskets.

So one quarter of eight is two.

1/4 of 8 = 2

Now go to Seesaw and complete the finding quarters activity.
