LC- To show negative numbers.

 

 We are going to start our new block of leaning today on position and movement. You will need to understand how negative numbers work so today should be a little bit of revision. 

 What is a negative number?

 

 Have a look at the following question. What strategies could you use to work it out?

The image is quite small but the first thermometer shows 2 degrees and the second one shows minus 6 degrees.

 Now let's learn and see if you got the same strategies and answer as MNP.

We will work through the guided work together. If you are at home go through carefully and record in your book. 

  Now complete pages 129 and 130 in your MNP books. If you are at home, the work is on Seesaw.
