 LC- To compare quantities.

Following on from yesterday, have a look at the following question. How would you compare the two amounts?

So for every 6 red cubes, there are 4 blue cubes.

Can we say this in a different way? That's right, we can simplify ratio just like we do with fractions.

Can we organise the cubes to help us see the problem in a different way?

Can we compare  in any other ways?

Let's learn.

Let's work on the guided practice together.

Then if you are happy, you can start the Maths NO Problem pages 19 and 20.

If you are learning from home, please complete the activities on Seesaw - Ratio and Ratio 2.
