LC: To discuss and record ideas for planning focusing on innovating a new story.
Today, you will plan an innovated story based on 'The Snargets' key text.
You will follow the model of the original text to help you.
Remember to magpie words, phrases and ideas from 'The Snargets' text to use in your own writing.
Use all the ideas you collected on Wednesday and Thursday to help you plan your story.

- Nearly every chapter is its own short story
- Each chapter takes place in separate periods of time
- Chapters usually begin and end at Granny’s house
- Each chapter usually has a problem and resolution
- In each chapter, Stig usually enters into the adventure in some way
- The chapters link to each other in some way through familiar settings like Granny’s house or the dump/chalk pit
