LC: To discuss and record ideas for planning.
Now you have read chapter one of 'Stig of the Dump', you will have realised that Barney has discovered a caveman! This is shocking news; therefore, you are going to report Barney's discovery as a newspaper recount.
Today, you will be collecting information on the discovery of Stig from Chapter 1 that can be used in your newspaper recount.
Things to think about when gathering your content:
Who was involved in the newspaper recount?
What happened?
When did it happen?
Where did it happen?
What evidence is there to prove that Stig is a caveman?
What are the key events that happened?
What happened first, next, after a while, eventually and in the end?
Who will be your eyewitness?
This can be recorded in your book.
Think carefully about how you will organise your notes.
