Homework and other important information
Homework:
Children change their books every day so you can practise their reading every night. Children also need to use their Spelling Card to practise reading and writing the tricky words and their Number Bond card to practise their number bonds.
If they read their book every school night for 10 minutes and have 10 minutes a week practising their tricky words that's 1 hour of homework every week!!!!
Other important information:
Remember your book bag every day. Don’t forget to get your reading record signed when you have read your book. Keep practising your tricky words and number bonds on your homework cards. Click here for ideas to make your homework cards fun.
Please bring a water bottle to keep at school. This needs to be kept at school and the teachers will make sure that the water is fresh every day
PE is on Tuesday and Wednesday. Don’t forget to come to school in your P.E. Uniform. You must wear your PE T-shirt and shorts underneath your jumper and trousers.
