Homework

It is vital that your child completes their homework tasks every week.

 

This includes:

 

  • Half an hour reading their reading book, every day.
  • Learning or practising times tables for 20 minutes every day. This also includes related division facts. 
  • Complete other homework tasks such as learning spellings. 

 

By the end of Year 4, all children should know all of their times tables to 12 x 12. Therefore, children that are not confident with them need to work hard at home to recall them quickly and confidently. 

 

Homework will be monitored in school but it is important for parents to work with us by ensuring that your child completes their homework daily.
