In Year 2, we have been learning about using apostrophes for words written in their contracted form.
can not- can't
would not- wouldn't
she would- she'd
We are going to continue to practise identifying which sentences include the correct use of the apostrophe in this 2Do.
Number 2 and number 7 may be a little trickier than the rest because they use apostrophes in another way. Give them a go anyway and we will learn about all the different ways to use apostrophes before Year 3.
