LC - To understand the use of modal verbs.
Have a look at the following words. What do you notice about them?
Hopefully you noticed that all these words show a degree of possibility, that means how likely something will happen. Which of these sentences would you rather hear? Why?
You won't have pizza.
You might have pizza.
You will have pizza.
won't, might and will are all examples of modal verbs.
