English

It's really important when writing a story or a non-fiction text to check your work and edit it to make it better. Today we are going to look back through our work and correct any mistakes.

First, look at this example and talk with your partner about what is good about it and what needs improving.

Who's that tripping across my bridge!

Listen carefully

Now let's take a look at another example.

Fine! I said and he trotered of with a grin.

Listen carefully

And finally:

Once in a while, three bears would come but they run away when they so me.

Listen carefully

Now it's your turn to look back through you work.

Have you missed any words out?

Have you used the correct punctuation for the sentence you have written?

Think about the spelling rules we have been learning recently.

Is the word a contraction? Does it need an apostrophe?

If you are working at home, send a picture of your writing with your editing included to your teacher.
