Today we are going to use this skill to write sentences about the trolls in the tale of the Billy Goats Gruff and the tale with a twist- Listen! My bridge is so cool.
Let's remind ourselves of the two stories.

Now let's look at how we can use compound sentences to compare the two trolls.
The troll in the original story is green but Arty is blue.
The troll is scary and Arty pretends to be scary.
Now it's your turn. Use these examples to write your own comparative sentences about the two trolls using co-ordinating conjunctions. If you are at home, send a picture of your work to your teacher.
