If the objects in your tray could talk, what do you think they would say?

Would the pencil be happy that it has to do all the hard work?

Would the green pen feel undervalued because all it does is correct all the mistakes that the pencil has made?

And what about the clock?

I bet you are wondering why you are being asked all of these questions. Has Miss gone completely mad?

Well... not yet!!

Today we are going to read a story called

The Day the Crayons Quit

When people protest against something, they often hold up banners to grab people's attention and show what they disagree with.

Why might the crayons be holding up banners and what could possibly have happened to make them quit?

Let's listen to the story to find out.
