Today we are going to take another look at our persuasive advert for visiting Liverpool, but this time we are going to look at what it would look like without all the detail.

These are the features we identified last week when we looked at the structure and language used to persuade.

Your task today is to think of a suitable title for a poster to persuade people to come to Burnley. Just like the model, it could start with the word Visit and have repetition using and adjective and the letter B.

Then write a list of things people can see and do in Burnley.

It might be about the boating lake in Thompson Park or listening to the Singing Ringing Tree.

If you are working at home, send a picture of your writing to your teacher.
