Let's look at what makes it so easy to learn and think about what we could use in our own verse.
When the main character speaks:
- It always starts with Please Mrs Butler
- The second line is always this boy Derek Drew keeps...
- The third line always end with Miss
- Then it always ends with the question- what shall I do?
Now it’s your turn to write your own verse. Watch the video below for an example of how to set your work out in your book.
When you have finished, take a picture of your work and email it to your teacher on Purple Mash.
