LC: To justify opinions and elaborate by referring to the text.

Let's read the text (Aquila) together. 

 

 

With your partner, using the information given, orally rehearse giving your opinions about the characters, justified with references to the text. 

 

For example: 

 

I can say Tom is feeling . . . because in the text it says . . .

 

 

I can say Geoff is feeling . . .  because in the text it says . . .
