Cool as a Cucumber Challenge!
Each year group will be given a packet of cucumber seeds to plant on Thursday 1st of February.
Where will be the best place to grow your cucumbers- in the domes, in your garden bed, in a pot outside your classroom door or in all of these places?
What will be the best way to grow the largest cucumber- by planting them in soil or growing them hydroponically?
It’s up to you!
World Cucumber Day
On Friday 14th June 2024, each year group will measure their cucumbers to find out who is in the lead to celebrate World Cucumber Day, but don’t pick them just yet!
Stoneyholme Harvest Day
On Monday 15th July 2024 we will pick the cucumbers you have grown, measure them and share the results to find out which year group has grown the largest cucumber.
