LC to make links between the lives of people in the 17th Century and today.
We are going to begin our learning about the 17th Century finding out about clothes and how they compare to the clothes we wear in Lancashire today.
Miss Klapproth and Mrs Metcalfe are dressed as characters from the 17th Century. You will have an opportunity to ask them questions about the clothes they are wearing, and have your photograph taken behind the character cut outs.
Now watch the video to learn how clothes have changed through time in Europe.
Changes in clothes.
In the UK today there are is a wide range of clothes that are worn reflecting many different cultures.
In Lancashire, the county that we live in, we know that many of our families choose to wear clothes that reflect their heritage.
Your first task is to generate 3 questions to ask the 17th Century character who is visiting your classroom.
You need to find out as much as you can about clothes in the 17th Century because the next task is to find similarities and differences between the clothes then and the clothes now.
When you are ready please go to Seesaw to complete your learning.
