As mathematicians we will be learning about place value, before exploring the communitive nature of addition and learn how to add and subtract 3-digit numbers.

As scientists we will explore Rocks and Soils. Using observational skills and touch, we will group a variety of rocks according to their properties. We will also explore the fossilisation process and the products of the process.

HISTORY

As Historians, we learn about the main developments of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Ages. We will use a range of sources to find out information and also produce a timeline of events. We will learn how people lived, what homes they lived in, what tools they used and what clothes they wore.

We found a prehistoric rock with ‘bash’ marks. We thought this could have been used as a hammer or weapon from the Stone Age.
