LC: To comment on how the artist has created atmosphere and mood

CLAUDE MONET

When I look at these paintings by Claude Monet, they make me feel warm, relaxed and peaceful. I can imagine myself in the picture because of his subtle and soft use of pastel colours inviting me in. They seem like places where you could go to sit back and unwind.
