The Arts: Sing Stars Choir

Sing Stars is the perfect opportunity to become Stoneyholme's very own star, with learning how to sing as part of a group and on your own. We will focus on singing technique, how to present yourself when performing, and most importantly, having fun when singing! Come along to have the opportunity to take part in competitions, trips, and lots of other exciting experiences with Miss Herbert. 

The Arts: Lights, Camera, Action!

Film making - it’s not just about what you see on screen, it’s how it makes it to the screen. Inspired by cinema’s great genres and directors from viewpoints, light and effects. Aspire to learn film techniques, close up, track and edit use of transitions and storyboard.

Sports: Girls Kwik Cricket

Summer is almost here. Time to get our Cricket bat and ball out. Our Cricket Club provides an ideal introduction to a great team summer sport.  As well as having fun and healthy exercise, children will learn the core skills, techniques, and basic knowledge of soft ball cricket, take part in mini games, and prepare for upcoming summer events.

Engineering: Tower Project

Do you ever look up and think, how did they build that tower so high? If so, then come along to our club. You will be investigating towers and skyscrapers and designing and building your own. Do you think you can build the strongest tower? Come to our club and prove it.

Technology: Chess

Do you like to play tactical and strategic games? Come and learn the rules and basics of chess. Be the mastermind of the Kind and the Queen, control the Bishop and the Pawn.

Health & Wellbeing: Feel Good Cooks

Feel good about cooking and creating new healthy recipes!! Learn to cook, bake, mix, and stir like a great chef.  

The Arts: Song Writing

Song writing club is the perfect opportunity to become Stoneyholme's very own star, with learning how to write and perform your own music. We’ll be writing lyrics and music, and eventually performing them. Come along to learn a new skill with Miss Herbert.

Sports: Boys Kwik Cricket

The Arts: Buzzing Book Club (Y5)

Have you ever thought about what might be inside all those mountains in the world? Think you already know? Then prepare to be surprised. Buzzing Book Club will take you to places you've never been before or even imagined existed, and you will meet some fascinating new 'friends' along the way? Do you want to experience the twists, turns and thrills of adventure and mystery. Do you want to be drawn into imaginary worlds where the impossible becomes possible? If so, then our Buzzing Book Club is the one for you. Be prepared to jump into the unknown and unexpected!

The Arts: Landscape Artist

Learn about styles, colours, composition and become the complete Artist. Observe the great landscape artists of the world spanning the decades as your starting point. Use observational drawing as the beginning of your painting journey, you’ll work through the processes to create a masterpiece. 

Sports: Tennis

Come along to Stoneyholme’s Tennis Club and learn all the skills needed to be a great Tennis player. You will become masters of serving (underarm and overarm), forehand and back hand drive shots, and even play games using our fabulous Tennis nets! We are looking for children to represent Stoneyholme in a Mini Tennis festival – have you got what it takes?

Global Citizenship: Project Runway

Ever wondered what happens to your recyclable materials? Wonder no more, as we will be strutting our stuff, using our stuff! Come along to project runway - an eco-friendly club where you will create an outfit without creating waste. Let me see your most imaginative designs using everyday items!

Technology: Sphero’s

Introducing the new Sphero club, the robot that rolls to your commands. Do you have the skills to lead your robot into a robot war or onto a football pitch to become an unbeatable duo? Sign up to find out if you’ve got what it takes! 

The Arts: Freestyle & Street  

Year 5 and 6 boys, it’s your time to dance! This club is aimed at energetic and enthusiastic boys who want to come together and have fun by expressing themselves through freestyle, rhythm, and street dance! Not only will you become a superstar dancer, but you will have amazing fun whilst doing so! 

Health & Wellbeing: Stoneyholme Snappers

Stoneyholme Snappers is designed to provide children with a creative, safe, and fun learning environment. Where young children get to explore creative photographic ideas whilst learning a lifelong skill. And with Spring just around the corner, children will have the perfect opportunity to capture the bloom and the beautiful colours that come with it. Learn how to capture the perfect light, try capturing the sharpest flower shot, master the perfect landscape frame, and why not create your own photo journal. Let’s see where your camera and your eyes take you! 

Global Citizenship: Arabic

Come along to Arabic club and learn a new language with our fabulous Arabic Teacher! It’s a fantastic new skill to learn and lots of fun too!
