The Arts: Sing Stars - Choir
Sing Stars is the perfect opportunity to become Stoneyholme's very own star, with learning how to sing as part of a group and on your own. We will focus on singing technique, how to present yourself when performing, and most importantly, having fun when singing! Come along to have the opportunity to take part in competitions, trips, and lots of other exciting experiences with Miss Herbert.

Creative Writers - Wanted.
Once upon a time there was a small stone that needed some help. It was struggling to make his friend laugh. He started telling a story, by using his body pretending to be a bird, but his friend didn’t notice. Then, Stone drew a picture, but his friend didn’t move or open its eyes. So, Stone made some musical sounds to create the wind and rain before taking photos of his many faces. Finally, Stone’s friend yawned, opened its eyes smiled and said, “Ok it my turn." Use art, drama, and music to create your own imaginative story, pieced together each week.
Global Citizenship: Sign Language
Learn a new language! BSL (British Sign Language) is a way of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language. Sign Language is used mainly by people who are Deaf or have hearing impairments, and their families.
It’s a fantastic new skill to learn and lots of fun too!

Sports: Tri-Golf
Stoneyholme will be welcoming a fabulous Golf Coach.
Tri-Golf is a fun and energetic version of golf that is perfect for Primary Schools and young aspiring golfers as they hit targets with their first golf shots. Tri-Golf is a genuinely inclusive sport as it suits players of all abilities.
You will have the chance to attend a trip to the Prairie Sports Village for the last 2 sessions!
Sports: Tag Rugby
Come and learn how to play Tag Ruby! It is a fun filled competitive sport that requires lots of skills. We will learn how to: pass, catch, run with the ball and attack, and defend by tagging. We will build up to small games and participate in a mini–Tag Rugby competition.
Sports: Cross Country
Do you enjoy running? Do you want to participate in a running competition at Towneley Park? If you think you’re up for the job then why not try Cross Country Club! Here at Cross Country Club, we will develop our long-distance running skills by using our amazing school ground environments.
Sports: Girls Fantasy Football
Come and join Fantasy Football and become masters of dribbling, passing, shooting, attacking, and defending. You will participate in drills which include free kick and penalty shoot outs and will gain self-confidence, determination, teamwork. A Fantasy Fives Football league will also run throughout the five weeks.
Engineering: Park & Stride
Design and build your own multistorey car park with working lights and a lift. Teamwork is very important in this task!
Sports: Climbing Wall – Burnley College
We are looking for 15 children to attend Burnley College Climbing Wall with Mr Ahmed and Miss Sutcliffe! Sign up to learn a variety of Climbing skills and have lots of fun! This is a first come, first served selection so be quick and get your Forms signed!
