The Arts: Sing Stars Choir
Sing Stars is the perfect opportunity to become Stoneyholme's very own star, with learning how to sing as part of a group and on your own. We will focus on singing technique, how to present yourself when performing, and most importantly, having fun when singing! Come along to have the opportunity to take part in competitions, trips, and lots of other exciting experiences with Miss Herbert.
The Arts: Buzzing Book Club
Be transported to a world like no other. Join in an amazing mystery adventure to see if you can spot the clues to help solve it. Create your own world and become part of the story. Buzzing Book Club will give you the opportunity to enjoy tremendous novel, share your thoughts about it and take part in lots of linked activities such as drama, art, and craft – you choose!
Global Citizenship: Mud ‘n’ Pot
So, you can have fun and enjoy getting messy, bring in some old clothes to change into - we will provide the wellies and gloves!
- Plant seeds and bulbs to attract a wider variety of bees, butterflies, and other insects into your outdoor areas
- Be part of a team working together to improve the outdoor environment for yourself and others
- Learn how to make seed pots and hanging planters using recycled materials
- Organise a seed and plant sale
Global Citizenship: Sign Language
Learn a new language! BSL (British Sign Language) is a way of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language. Sign Language is used mainly by people who are Deaf or have hearing impairments, and their families.
It’s a fantastic new skill to learn and lots of fun too!
The Arts: Still Life Artist
Learn about styles, colours, composition and become the complete Artist. Observe the great still life artists of the world spanning the decades as your starting point. Use observational drawing as the beginning of your painting journey, you’ll work through the processes to create a masterpiece.
Sports: Cross Country
Do you enjoy running? Do you want to participate in a running competition at Towneley Park? If you think you’re up for the job, then why not try Cross Country Club! Here at Cross Country Club, we will develop our long-distance running skills whilst using our amazing school ground environments.
Global Citizenship: First Aid Champions
Earn a first Aid Champion certificate from the British Red Cross.
Do you want to learn how to help someone in an emergency? First aid champions will teach you how to get help and what to do if someone is injured or poorly. Learn theses important skills that may help you to stay calm and help save somebody's life!
Technology: Chess
Do you like to play tactical and strategic games? Come and learn the rules and basics of chess. Be the mastermind of the Kind and the Queen, control the Bishop and the Pawn.
Health & Wellbeing: Feel Good Cooks
Feel good about cooking and creating new healthy recipes!! Learn to cook, bake, mix, and stir like a great chef.
Sports: Sports Day
Welcome to our Summer after school Sports Day club. A fun and competitive club where children will be participating in classic sports day activities.
The perfect way for your children to have fun, stay fit, be safe, make new friends and learn after school! During our club, we will deliver a range of fun and exciting games to build confidence, social skills and improve fitness.
The Arts: Dance Stars
Come and join our amazing Dance Stars club with Miss Grimshaw! In this club students will learn to advance their dancing skills, challenge their creativity but above all have lots of fun.
Engineering: Locomotive Legends
Do you want to continue George Stephenson’s legacy? Then this is the club for you. We will be investigating the first ever locomotive and designing and building our own. Are you going to join us on our historical adventure?

Come along to Stoneyholme’s Tennis club and learn all the skills needed to be a great Tennis player. You will become masters of serving (underarm and overarm), forehand and back hand drive shots, and even play games using our fabulous Tennis nets! We are looking for children to represent Stoneyholme in a Mini Tennis festival – have you got what it takes?
Health & Wellbeing: Mindfulness
Come and join Mindfulness meditation and crafts! This will help you to explore your feelings, find various ways to relax and calm your mind and body.
